Carrier Settings Real-Time

This topic describes carrier settings for Real-Time capability.

All carrier settings are read-only when the real-time carrier state is on because only one real-time carrier is available for this release (A.14.00).

Wherever <carrier> appears in the SCPI command descriptions of this topic, that value is fixed to 1 for this release (A.14.00).

<carrier> is constructed from Carrier ID and Carrier Type.

Carrier Type

This setting returns the carrier type. This setting is automatically set when a carrier is added.

TDD Frame Configuration

This node is available when a TDD carrier is selected.

Uplink Downlink Configuration

Sets the uplink-downlink configuration.

The supported uplink-downlink configurations are defined in Table 4.2-2 of 3GPP TS 36.211.

Coupling: For Basic, Advanced UL, and Advanced DL LTE-A TDD when Auto Carrier Aggregation Configuration is set to On, this setting is read only for the secondary cells that has the same value as the primary cell.

The resource blocks and some parameters are reconfigured by changing the Uplink Downlink Configuration parameter in the same manner as Predefined Configuration.

Switch-point Periodicity

Displays the Switch-point periodicity of the frame. Refer to Uplink-downlink allocations in 3GPP TS 36.211 Table 4.2-2.

Special Subframe Configuration

Sets a special subframe configuration.

If corresponding Component Carrier is set to secondary cell and Auto Carrier Aggregation Configuration parameter is set to On, Special Subframe Configuration is set same as the primary cell value and set read only.
